2005 Health Care Exhibitors Association Annual Convention, held

Champion was glad to be a part of it!
In keeping with the local flavor, Champion's booth

Champion Assists with Tsunami Efforts
Following
a request for funds to assist tsunami relief efforts, Champion client
Jamuna Manickasingham of Webhire accepted several donations raised
by the Boston staff. In addition to donating all proceeds from the
sale of coffee in Champion's staff kitchen, the Boston office matched
funds by employees. Champion Chicago, Laarhoven Design of Atlanta
and many staff members were quick to jump in and raise over $1,800.00
in the month of January. Thank you to all who donated, and thanks
to Jamuna as well, for giving us an opportunity to help.

EDPA Annual Convention Another Success
The Annual EDPA Convention, held in St Petersburg, FL this past
December, was a success not only for Champion Logistics but for
the benificiary families of the RSMGC as well. In lieu of trade
show booth giveaways, Champion staffers asked show attendees to
stop by and fill out a card in exchange for a donation made in their
name to the Randy Smith Memorial Golf Classic. Champion then matched

this trade show industry charity. Thank you to all attendees that

Champion Chicago Vice President runs Marathon
Recognize the guy in red? Tom Beard of Champion Logistics Group,
Chicago, finished his first ever Chicago Marathon October 10th.
And if that's not enough, he flew to Atlanta the very next day to
participate in the 10th Annual Randy Smith Memorial Golf Classic.
"I knew that despite the event being rescheduled this year
and the conflict with my personal schedule, I was going to attend
this year’s event." said Tom in a recent conversation.
"After running the day before, the soreness in my legs was
nothing compared to what the beneficiary families have gone through.
We all need to support the RSMGC, in Atlanta, in regional events
like the Chicago Chapter EDPA Golf Outing held this past August
and throughout the year in any way we can." Congratulations
to Tom Beard for his finish in the marathon and for his support
of a very worthy cause!

EACA creates new chapter, Champion employees named to Board of Directors
The Exhibitor Appointed Contractors Association (EACA) has recently
formed the EACA New England Chapter. A meeting meeting held at the
Hynes Convention Center in Boston reviewed the successes of other
EACA chapters, the advantages of becoming members as well as the
potential of creating a local chapter. The overall consensus of
those present was that the formation of a New England chapter would
be a welcome addition to the trade show community.
Sharon Bingham of Champion Boston will be serving as President
of the new chapter; Tom Kendrew has been appointed as a Director
of the Board. More information on EACA can be found on their website,

Champion Transportation… it’s a no-brainer!
TS2, the trade show about trade shows, was recently held in the
New Washington Convention Center and Champion Transportation was
proud to be included as one of this year’s exhibitors.
Attendees were greeted by Champion staff by being asked "Do
you need a brain??" a question typically answered by a laugh
and an inquisitive look at the gooey and sticky brains in a petri
dish that were being handed out on the show floor. Attendees learned
more about Champion’s trade show division as they spent time
throwing the brains against the back wall of the exhibit. For more
information about TS2 or TSEA, the non-profit organization that
produces the event, please visit www.tsea.org
